With us looking for a relaxed ceremony that reflected our personalities and was relevant to our relationship, it was important for us to have a celebrant who was sensitive to our needs.
Susanna was very good at listening to our story and what we wanted on our wedding day. She gave us appropriate choices on things to include in the ceremony, supported our decisions, as well as guiding us through the legal parts and how to incorporate them whilst maintaining our feeling.
The whole ceremony was fantastic. Susanna was very supportive and helpful making it as easy for us as possible. The feedback from friends and family was that they could feel us and our personalities during the ceremony, which was what we wanted, and Susanna pulled that all together.
We highly recommend anyone who is looking to personalise their ceremony to contact Susanna. She is consultative, helpful, compassionate and a pleasure to deal with.
I (Simon) should disclose that Susanna is my mother. It was no doubt hard for her to step back and remove her thoughts and emotions but she did so whilst maintaining her professionalism at all times, waiting until the very end to get all emotional!!

We wanted to go through our wedding preparations with minimum stress and working with Susanna really helped to achieve that. We weren't too sure what style ceremony we wanted but after a couple of meetings and efficient e-mail correspondence, Susanna's amazing guidance, abundant ideas and support material, we quickly arrived at a formula for the ceremony which was very personalised and enjoyable for all. We had an absolutely serene and wonderful wedding which far exceeded our expectations!

La sabbia calda, la luce forte e chiara, le onde leggere del mare a lambire i piedi, il suono cullante del mare e il profumo fresco e cristallino hanno reso la cerimonia speciale come sognavo. Una gioia dei sensi per gli sposi e per gli invitati.
Il matrimonio più divertente, intimo, intense e allegro che abbia mai visto. Dopo la cerimonia ci siamo tuffato nell’oceano : un vero bagno augurale per tutti.
After 12 years of living together and a beautiful son, we decided to get married.
We love the sea, travelling and above all our friends who moved to Perth 4 years ago.
We looked for a very special place for our wedding, which could not take place without our Italo-Australian friends, There was nothing more alluring, light-filled and romantic than Port Beach in Fremantle (Perth).
The warm sand, the intense, bright light, the gentle waves lapping over our feet, the lulling sound of the sea and its fresh, crystal-clear perfume all made the ceremony as special as I had dreamt. A joy to the senses for the bride and groom and for the guests.
The most enjoyable, intimate, intense and blissful ceremony that I have ever seen. After the ceremony we plunged into the ocean: a truly auspicious dip for us all.

For us the most important part of our wedding day was the ceremony to commence our life long journey together.
Susanna was the perfect celebrant for the unique ceremony we wanted to create to celebrate our union. From the outset her generosity of time, knowledge and resources, made the logistical concerns of the day, a breeze. This created a space which allowed us to delve into the bigger picture and have a little fun whilst organising the “serious” part of the day.
Susanna’s authentic approach to the flow of the ceremony allowed us to see the value in and choose certain traditional rituals as well as embracing Susanna’s personalised loving cup ceremony, which we loved.
Always accommodating with our needs and wants for the day, Susanna’s peaceful and personal way allowed us the experience of complete satisfaction, joy and love on our wedding day.

It was an honor to have Susanna Bessell-Browne a part of a very important occasion in our lives with the recent loss of our beloved mother. Susanna was there to guide and support my brother, sister and me at a time when were we sad and dealing with our loss. Through her compassion, understanding and love, Susanna guided our decision making to enable us to have just what we wanted to celebrate Mum’s life. She sat with us for many hours as we talked about and reflected on our Mum’s 84 years and her life with our Dad. Our thoughts, feeling, ideas and emotions were captured into words that reflected our love for our Mum which she then delivered beautifully as the eulogy.
Susanna patiently guided us as we planned the funeral. She helped us make decisions as how best to celebrate Mum’s life to reflect the woman and mother she was. Susanna offered wonderful ideas such as a candle lighting and assisted us in selecting appropriate readings and preparing the eulogy.
As the director of the service her professionalism and compassion combined, brought together a beautiful celebration.
